29/03/08: Report of a car over the cliff near Penarth Coastguard Station. Barry Coastguard were tasked as back-up, but stood down on arrival at station.
 
23/03/08: Report of three people cut of by the tide at Sully Island. Barry Coastguard were tasked, along with Penarth Lifeboat, who recovered one person and his bicycle from the Island. The other two people decided to stay on the Island and continue fishing.
 
08/03/08: Report from the Fire Service to assist the extraction of a person and a horse from the Rhumney River, Cardiff. Horse and male recovered without injury.
 
26/01/08: Request from the Ambulance service to assist in the medivac of a casualty, with a sprained ankle. Casualty taken to hospital by Ambulance.
 
04/01/08: Tasked to a Trimoran with a broken mask. Barry Dock Lifeboat towed the vessel into Barry Harbour, where Barry Coastguard obtained details.
 
02/12/07: Windsurfer in difficulties at Whitmore Bay.
 
01/12/07: Red Flare sighted in Knap/Whitmore Bay area. Search found nothing.
